What we publish, and what we refuse to

We never invent a number

Exam facts — item counts, time limits, cut scores, education hours, fees, deadlines — are taken from the state's own published sources: the testing vendor's candidate handbook, the state commission or licensing department, and the statute itself. Every state page records when it was last reviewed.

Where a figure is widely published but we haven't verified it against the primary source, the page says so and tells you to confirm with your state commission. Where a figure changes annually, we flag the review cycle rather than quietly letting it rot.

We would rather show you a gap than fill it with something plausible.

We never reproduce real exam items

Actual licensing exam questions are confidential and copyrighted. We do not use them, and we do not buy banks that might contain them. Every question here is written to the published content outline — the topics, the format, the weighting — and nothing else.

Anyone offering you 'real exam questions' is offering you a liability. Candidates have lost licences over it.

We disclose AI assistance

Our questions are drafted with AI under human-authored rule sets, and screened by two independent AI reviewers before release. Explanations are produced the same way. We say this plainly because you deserve to know how the material you're studying was made.

What AI does not decide: what the rules are, what counts as an error, and what gets deleted. Those are human calls, and the process is described in full on our methodology page.

We don't attribute AI-assisted work to a person who didn't write it

Articles and guides carry the byline 'AgentExamCoach Editorial Team'. That is deliberate. Inventing a named author with a photograph and a biography for content assembled this way is a common practice in this industry and a dishonest one.

We don't fabricate social proof

No invented testimonials, no star ratings we didn't receive, no 'trusted by 12,000 candidates' when we haven't counted. If we quote someone, they said it. If we cite a number about ourselves, we can show the query that produced it.

We make no promises about your result

Passing depends on your preparation, your state's standard, and the day. We publish a readiness score calibrated to the real cut score precisely so we can tell you when you are not ready — which is the more useful half of the product.

Where a pass guarantee applies, its conditions are stated before you pay, not after you fail.

We are not your state commission, and we don't pretend to be

AgentExamCoach is an independent study resource. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or reviewed by any state real estate commission, department of licensing, testing vendor, or real estate school. Trademarks are used nominatively, to identify the exam we prepare you for.

This is exam preparation only. It is not state-approved qualifying (pre-license) education and cannot substitute for it.

How we handle corrections

If you find an error — a wrong answer key, an outdated cut score, a rule that changed — email info@agentexamcoach.com with enough detail to find it. We verify against the primary source, then correct or delete.

Questions our own review process flags are removed rather than reworded. Across the six states put through it, that has meant deleting 1,340 questions we had already paid to produce.
