AgentExamCoach ("we," "us") provides AI-powered preparation tools for the Texas real estate licensing exam. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Our service is intended for adults (18 and over) preparing for a professional licensing exam.
Information we collect
- Account data: your name, email, and a securely hashed password.
- Exam profile: your display name and optional target exam date.
- Learning data: practice answers, scores, streaks, and readiness used to personalize your prep.
- Uploads you provide: a score report you choose to upload for diagnosis.
- Payment data: handled by PayPal — we never see or store your card details.
- Technical data: basic, privacy-preserving usage and device information needed to operate the service.
How we use information
- To personalize your practice, generate your readiness score, and diagnose an uploaded score report.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service.
- To send account-related email (e.g., password resets, receipts, weekly progress summaries you can turn off).
What we never do
- We never sell your personal information.
- We do not use your data to build third-party advertising profiles.
AI features & providers
Some features — the AI coach, practice explanations, and score-report analysis — are powered by third-party AI providers (currently Groq, OpenRouter, and Google) that process data on our behalf to generate a response. We send only the minimum needed: typically your target exam plus any content you submit to an AI feature (for example, a question you ask the coach, or a score report you upload).
We do not send full account identifiers, passwords, or payment details to these providers, and we do not use these features to serve advertising. These providers are contractually limited to processing data to return the requested result. AI features are optional — you can use the core practice engine without them.
Your rights & control
You can review or edit your profile at any time from your Account page. You can also delete your entire account and erase all associated data from Account → Delete account(this is immediate and permanent). You may also email us at the address below for help.
Data retention & security
We keep data only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Passwords are stored hashed. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
Service providers
We use trusted infrastructure providers (hosting, database, payment, and email delivery) solely to operate the service. They process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations and may not use it for their own purposes.
