Common questions

Is a question a day actually enough?

On its own, no — and we'd rather say so. One question a day is a habit device: it keeps the material in front of you between study sessions and surfaces gaps you didn't know you had. Passing takes volume, which is what the free practice pages and full-length exam are for.

Which portion do these come from?

The national portion, because that half is identical in every state — so the same question is relevant whichever state you're licensing in. Your state-law half is practised separately.
